Bio

雪百合 Yukiyuri, meaning Snow Lily was named after her parents. She looks exactly like her mother, Snowfall and decided to follow in her footsteps.

Born to "traveling wolf" Snowfall and 笹百合 Sasayuri, 40年 1夏 [Orchid, Metal Eagle]

Lore: Yukiyuri was looking for a suitable place to spend the winter. She ended up in a mountainous area and wandered around for days without picking up the scent of any other wolf. She was beginning to think about retracing her steps. It was getting colder every hour.
Eventually, she came across tracks of a deer and a group of hunters. Cautiously, she began sniffing the air.
Soon she came upon a clearing in the woods, where a group of wolves were just eating freshly hunted game. Two similar-looking brown males spotted her.
"Hey! You there!" barked one of them.
She was already about to retreat when two wolves jumped at her in a few jumps. She put her ears together and looked at them menacingly, showing that she would defend herself if necessary.
"Relax," said the darker one. "My brother is a little too excited to see a new face. We don't have many guests around here."
"Well, I am a traveler" she relaxed a little. "I won't be bothering you for long."
"Traveler? It can be difficult to survive the winter alone in these areas." the darker male flicked an ear and hummed. "Share a meal with us and stick around for a while. We'll talk to our Matriarch. Maybe she will allow you to spend the winter here."
The hunters did as they promised. Yukiyuri got the permission of an old female to live through the winter in the Hidden Valley grounds. The pack, or rather, as they called themselves, the flock, was small but everyone seemed to get along with each other well. Yukiyuri learned that in recent months they have lost several members who passed away due to age - herbalist, several hunters, the mothers of the two brothers, with whom she formed a bond of friendship, Sonna and Kwali.
They were often hunting for her. Yukiyuri repeatedly said she could take care of herself, but they always answeared that she was a guest and that they would take care of her. Yukiyuri became quite fond of them but with the coming of spring, she had to say goodbye.

Lore: Yukiyuri traveled in the mountains for some time. she eventually joined up with the Noel Winter Eve pack. during her stay , she sleep in the main den. Yukiyuri taught to the pups in the pack. she decided to breed with the breeding male of the pack. whos name is Pink Wings.

Traveler log: no role, received baltimore checkerspot and stinging nettle, 22 failed breeding attempts when breeding to spock.
Lore: Yukiyuri briefly introduced herself and was promptly shown to were she could sleep, Nayeli more than happy to put aside conversation and accommodate Yukiyuri's aloof nature. She met a few other travelers, Fire's darkest secret and Hawthorne. Hawthrone told her of her journey to the desert, and gave her some desert survival tips! Fire also offered her stories of his travels. It was nice to be on the receiving end of stories, although she preferred her time alone. You ask 雪百合 Yukiyuri how they're doing today. They simply shrug and turn away.
Yukiyuri was bred to Spock, and one of her pups was chosen to stay in Dhuara pack, named Yukiko.

Lore: Yukiyuri was picked up at the base of a mountain by a passing hunting party, the thick furred wolves were quick to offer her a place to rest despite the strange energy that seemed to be following them.
Once at the pack's home she was settled into a den known as the Traveler's Rest, where the pack's scouts resided. While the wolves were friendly the pack was clearly in a strange time, as the first lead wolf of the pack was retiring and a new lead needed to be created in a ceremony she did not wish to take part in.
The following days with the Winterset Pack were quiet, Yukiyuri watched in interest as the pack's new lead wolf, Eria, settled into her duties. When it came time to move on, the pack's older scouts, Paint and Fathom, journeyed with her to the edge of the territory. They wished her well and hoped she would come again at a less chaotic time in the pack.

Lore: YukiYuri found herself at the edge of another territory. The pack had gained a new alpha and the scouts were busy scouting new but old places. A mischeivous Luibheoir the herbalist was the one to spot her. Approaching with a mouthful of herbs his muffled voice asked. "Traveler?"

YukiYuri nodded and Luibheoir motioned with his head to follow. The pack moved from the desert to the swamp. YukiYuri couldn't believe how much hustle and bustle was going on. During her stay she grew close to Shinobi. She had pups with him once they were old enough she bid her farewells.

Lore: 雪百合 Yukiyuri was walking down the trail, knowing the area, she planned to visit the BloodNight Pack again. Though it was normal before, she heard from other travelers that things get spooky in their territory. She looked around when she suddenly heard a crack, she looked down and saw she stepped on a wolf skull, she took a step back surprised. The wolf skull started to float as pitch black ooze started to form the shape of a body, the jaw cracked as the creature then roared. 雪百合 Yukiyuri did a quick turn and ran, running through the thick trees as she did a sharp turn, hiding behind a boulder. She could heard the squishy footsteps as it passed by her hiding spot.

Not long after, she stayed with the pack, telling the story of her strange encounter to the pups. When she left she swore to never return here at October ever again.

Lore: 雪百合 Yukiyuri found herself in a large deciduous forest. These woods were unfamiliar to her, so she took her time walking through them and enjoying the scenery. It was wintertime and a light dusting of snow covered the freshly fallen leaves on the ground. Most of the trees were bare except for the few conifers in the area. As it got dark, 雪百合 Yukiyuri noticed a strange mist that began to penetrate the forest floor. It was blue and seemed almost to glow.
A screech nearby caught her attention and she found herself face to face with a rat. It was slightly bigger than normal and seemed to have glowing blue eyes and fur. 雪百合 Yukiyuri was so confused and surprised that she didn't react in time to catch the pesky rodent as it sprinted off in the distance.
"New to these woods, huh?" A feminine voice asked from nearby. The she-wolf had a dark red pelt that had black and blue markings that glowed brightly against the darkness of the night. "My name is Miyuki 美幸 . If you're traveling, come with me, the Starshade Pack welcomes travelers."
雪百合 Yukiyuri was delighted to not have been met with any hostility and nodded, agreeing happily to go back with Miyuki 美幸.
Miyuki 美幸 explained as they walked about how the Starshade woods are permeated with lunar energy which causes the blue mist on the ground. Lunar creatures mistake the high concentration of lunar energy from their home and often wind up in the mortal plane from theirs. Miyuki 美幸 also explained how her coat glowed because of her exposure to this energy as well as the fact that the black and blue marks are the marks of a star-touched wolf. That's why they glowed especially brightly.
雪百合 Yukiyuri was very fascinated by all this and when she reached their den in the heart of the woods, she stayed up much of the night to watch the lunar phenomena. The pack den was in the densest part of the forest where the branches shaded the wolves from even starlight. 雪百合 Yukiyuri learned many pupsitting tricks from Miyuki 美幸 as she stayed and the two became close friends.
When it came time for 雪百合 Yukiyuri to leave, Miyuki 美幸 found one of the few branches still with leaves and gave it to her as a parting gift.

Lore: After leaving the Starshade pack, Yukiyuri wandered into the territory of Lupus Moon's Silent Woods pack in the Taiga. She was allowed to stay for a time to rest, but was forced to flee early when the other packs inhabiting the lands of Lupus Moon attacked the Silent Woods pack. She was spared only because she did not bear Silent Wood blood. Shaken, Yukiyuri returned to her home pack to live out the rest of her days.
