Biography
ــــــــــــــــﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ
When Fenix first got to Myrmidon as a gift from Talo Pack, he saw a den in a state, so to say the least. Only a day into existence, the leader lost and confused as new pups jumped around, future hunters in the making. Not enough wolves for a full hunter group yet. Fenix helped out as he could, but he couldn't lie. Those first few days were chaos, and he found himself wondering if he would be better off just heading somewhere else. Yet he was stubborn. So when enough wolves filled all the crucial roles, he went to his duties as a pupsitter. A bossy wolf at heart, he put those pups in line. Well, he had to. They were the future of this place he was beginning to call home.
Fenix kept to himself for the first while. Keeping those rambunctious little puppies in line the best he could, tutoring them with the best knowledge he had. Giving all his energy and time into helping this place become a proper den. And it flourished. Sure, it would never be perfect. Like a true family, there is always bickering, so much to do, unfinished projects. But it wasn't just Chaos anymore. It was beginning to turn into life. What was expected and what was comfortable.
As the oldest of the pack for the longest time, he felt compelled to take care of all the younger wolves. Teaching the leader some tricks he had up his sleeve and the new hunters the best spots in their new home to find prey at certain times of the year.

Fenix had been in Myrmidon for a long time. It felt like time slipped through his paws like the rain through the canopy leaves. Trickling and every flowing down to the roots of life.
There was a younger wolf that he had grown close to during his time here. Aphrodite. She is an ambitious and lovely girl in his opinion. He believed she had the tenacity to get far in her life. A close friend in a world of turmoil.
As the days began to get longer and he found it a bit harder to keep up with the pups, he found himself with Aphrodite. Working together to keep the fur balls from getting into trouble. The two would be found lounging in the sun, talking of stories from their lives and of wolves who have long passed through the den. She always seemed to be there when he needed her.
He was confused when she adamantly spent days trying to convince the lead wolf to allow one of their pups to stay. Yet he was there with her as a silent supporter. When he asked about it, she explained that in her eyes, the pup looked so much like the both of them. When his blank look continued, she smiled wearily and uttered a "don't worry about it" before pressing her shoulder against his in a friendly gesture.
He had never officially taken a lover. Well, there was that one time... but he had no interest in the other wolf, and it ended within the week. He never planned to have a lover. He was too old for that sort of thing now anyway. Though he still felt guilty, when looking at the younger she-wolf, still so full of life and speaking of the future, he felt guilty for not being able to go on those long adventure she loved anymore. He didn't know why he felt guilty. Maybe it was because he couldn't be the friend she needed him to be like she was for him.
All he could do was forward his gratitude. For her help.

Once Fenix had hit retirement and moved from a pupsitter to a mentor, it was really starting to sink in just how old he was getting. He couldn't keep up with all these new things happening anymore. Maybe one of the few benefits was being fed with the mothers and pups. A sign of gratitude for his support, the leader called it. Although it didn't feel like such a big benefit. Not when his appetite wasn't what it used to be, and his temper started to simmer down. He didn't have the energy to give out to the little troublemakers in his classes anymore.
So he'd just sigh and head to his favourite tree at the top of the hill where their den was hidden under. Watching as the sun crept across the sky with a content smile on his face. Waiting for Aphrodite or his daughter Postuma to come join him like they usually would. Listening to the birds in the trees as they sang their mellifluous choruses across the woodlands.

... maybe he could just close his eyes for a while... listen to the birds as the sun warmed his fur... only for minute...
