You come to a foggy clearing in the forest. A light rain dampening your pelt, you give a soft shake--though there is not much you can so besides get wet again. As you resume your travels, suddenly a wolf appears before you. You feel instantly unsettled, the air around you had changed, was it somehow quieter? The wolf before you simply stared, making no gesture that they were friendly or not. You stared back unable to look away, unable to blink. Perhaps it was because you stayed locked in this gaze, the wolf's features seemed to shift and change in your peripheral vision , as if unable to hold its shape the longer you stared.

And as suddenly as the wolf appeared, it darted away in a blur. You looked into the direction of where the wolf had gone, still unmoving, heart thumping. After a few moments a calm seems to come over you and you are able to breath easy again. You get an urge to quickly leave in the opposite direction, making a mental note to avoid this area. You don't want to experience this encounter again.
