Since being abandoned at the enclave Ocean has major trust issues and anxiety. Snowstorm tried her hardest to show him love and tell him that he was safe. Ocean believed her but he always had little voices in his head feeding him all his insecurities. That was until Ocean went swimming he learned that he was much better then almost anyone in the pack and he could talk with the sea creatures. For once Ocean felt free and happy.
But on land Ocean was different he had zero luck with the ladies not for luck of trying but the anxiety would just pick up again. Then Shadow began talking to him, he had no idea why. At first things were tense but Shadow always showed him warmth and never left him. Ocean knew she was the one.
Together they have found solstice and not even death can keep them apart for long a fact that will consul Ocean when his mate dies.
