Narene is an effective hunter, but one that is not very approachable. Aside from her Hunt-Mates, she mostly keeps to herself. Pups often dare each other to seek out the mysterious she-wolf that lurks in the depths of the pack's territory - before being herded away by nervous pupsitters.
Cloudjumper, being the lead wolf that welcomed her into the pack, seems to be the only wolf aside from her Huntmates that can tolerate her presence. All others give a wide berth .
Despite her appearance, Narene is quite friendly towards the daring pups that manage to wander into her den, and is fiercely protective of her own.
