Lore (optional):SpoilerThe sun beamed down on the youngling's fur as he trotted along the shrubbery, his tongue hanging out as he panted. It wasn't often that the grasslands got this hot, especially in fall, but it unfortunately happened while Sparrow was still traveling. The grass would crunch beneath his paws, keeping him uncomfortable as he searched for shelter; and shelter he found! A cave that seemed to be unoccupied, at least, it smelt like it. The adolescent would quickly make his way to the cave, letting out a breathy sigh as the cool stone met his worn-out paws. Not thinking too much about it, he quickly collapsed on the ground, allowing his body to relax again since he left for this journey.

Lore (optional): Sparrow was welcomed into the pack by the slightly nervous lead, Dax. He offered his services as a pupsitter for a bit and looked after the pack's puppies with a smile and a laugh. He enjoyed telling them stories of the world and they loved to listen to him. But after a while, his wanderlust overtook him once more, and he bid farewell to the pack, and set off on the trail again.

LoreThe season of cataclysm was volatile and relentless as Sparrow traversed leafy prairie, ditch after cleft, gulping air in the spitting face of a developing dust storm. Scraping his light fur against sheering rock, he traced the crag's circumference around to a concave carving that looked big enough to shadow his battered body from further abuse from the howling nature.
As screeching winds do, Sparrow was unnerved by the volume of the storm, panic causing an increase in adrenaline, heightening his senses. He found a low growl escape from his throat almost involuntarily as he detected the unmistakable odor of another wolf. Whilst all his hosts had been amiable so far, and Sparrow had no reason to believe in any wrongdoing, caution took hold.
An elderly troubled wolf peered at him uncertainly from his hiding spot. It seemed the sanctum Sparrow had found was already taken. He whined, showing no ill-doing, wagging his tail weakly. Sparrow, at this point disconcerted by the detection of another two wolves further behind, paid no attention, and whirled around to crouch before the black-and-white plump female that greeted him around the bend, followed by a displeased, younger adolescent female. Sparrow was beckoned inside, and followed.
My name is Ochi! We are pleased to see you found a sanctum in this storm, traveler."
The black-and-white female was by far the most eccentric as she nudged him in friendly greeting. The eldest wolf, who had introduced himself as Pirate, was no less accepting, simply more reserved as he pressed against the four-wolf bundle to conserve body heat. The youngest female, Heart, was biting back whines, pressed as far away as she could be from Sparrow, unsure and anxious.
Pirate spoke now, "Our pack is not unaccustomed to travelers. As a scout, I have certainly welcomed many of your rank. It would be our courtesy to do the same now."
Sparrow, stayed with the Alsacians for a total of 3 moons, greeted gladly by a very courteous leader Lendrithlay who had about as much warmth in her as Heart. Nonetheless, Alsace treated Sparrow no differently to their own and, as the season dwindled and natural disaster lessened, Sparrow embarked on his travels again.

Lore (optional): SpoilerThe heat of the early autumn sun, though tempered by the forest trees, still created such a level of ambient heat that Sparrow found himself very drowsy and in need of a break. He barely had the chance to close his eyes before a rustling nearby disturbed him; when he reopened them, a large sandhill crane was standing over him, peering at him closely.
Sparrow was welcomed promptly to Meute Huron: a nomadic group, he learned, comprised of both cranes and wolves and that called itself a pack. The wolves were especially interested in hearing stories of his own personal travels alone— apparently every journey in this pack was guided by the cranes. It seemed it was a learning experience for both of them. Once Sparrow had exhausted his stock of stories to the pack, he decided he should be on his way once more.Decor (optional): Added Berry Bracelets [Purple]

Lore (optional): Sparrow enjoyed his time with the Spirit Dwellers. While he was there, he learned all about their ancestors. The members of the pack were adamant that he learns how to summon the spirits of the ancestors for aid in times of need. Sparrow wasn't sure if he'd ever need to use this knowledge, but he enjoyed spending time with the pack and learning from them. Once the pack was confident that he had the rituals down, they allowed Sparrow to continue on his journey. Sparrow was sad to go but was also excited for his next adventure.

LoreThe pack seemed quite surprised when Sparrow arrived with a fresh carcass as a gift. Since the alpha Falconstar was out exploring, Coyoteheart suggested that Sparrow could have a chat with the hunters. He got along really well with almost everyone, so that a few of them put in a good word for him when Falconstar returned. When the alpha finally had time for him, she welcomed him into the pack: "Welcome in the Pack of Hunting Feathers! My hunters have told me that you know a lot about different hunting techniques. We would be happy if you could stay a while and pass on your knowledge to us." Sparrow said it would be a pleasure, and he was assigned to a hunting party on the same day. During his time in the pack, he not only taught the others something, but he also learned something from them.
When he announced one evening that he would be leaving the next morning, there was great sadness. "I really enjoyed my time here, but I'm getting older, and I'd like to travel a bit more before it's too late."Decor (optional): Poison Ivy
