~Story of Pinewood~
Pinewood was an observant pup, always taking notices of everything around him. He watched the world with curious eyes and awaited to see what lay beyond the horizon. He wandered from his previous pack to see the world how he wanted to see it but at his young age that could be dangerous.
Crow, a large black wolf with golden streaks that gleamed in the sunlight, found him wandering aimlessly. "A pup like you should not be out in the forest alone." Crow's voice deep yet strong "Come with me pup. This dense forest is home to many predators..." Crow is abruptly interrupted "But I'm a mighty wolf! No predator more dangerous than me!" Pinewood exclaimed in a very enthusiastic tone while wagging his tail and looking around. Crow sighs and smiles a bit "Tough words. But your not that dangerous yet. Allow me to show you just what is means to be a predator." Pinewood wagged his tail and followed Crow to a clearing in the forest, very few wolves roaming about.
Time passed and Pinewood took his training very seriously. Focusing intently on every lesson and hunt. He grew stronger, agile, and wise. Joined the pack under the old leadership of Sycamore but shown exceptional skill in hunting unlike the other hunters of the pack.
As Pinewood entered the camp, dragging an elk by the antlers. Sycamore walks up to him. "Your a fine hunter Pinewood." Pinewood nods and lays the elk's head on the ground. "Thank you Alpha." Sycamore then turns sharply to the unsuccessful hunter walking into the camp. "And you again brought back no prey!" Sycamore leapt and attacked the other wolf, Pinewood watches and the fight stops when a loud shriek is heard. "I'm sorry Alpha! Please! I'll... I'll bring back prey next time... Promise!" Pinewood sighs and takes his kill to the prey pile, thoughts in his mind. 'Alpha Sycamore can be rather rash... Best not interfere though. I am on his good side.' Pinewood turns to leave the prey pile and bumps noses with a she-wolf with a vibrant red and golden coat. "Oh!... I'm sorry..." Pinewood spoke gently. Bloodstone backed up a bit. "Oh no. It's my fault. I didn't notice you there." Bloodstone's tone quick and nervous. Pinewood flicks his right ear as he hears Sycamore call for him to hunt again. "If you'll excuse me. Alpha Sycamore needs me to hunt again." He walks by her, his tail brushed against her left side as he passed by. Pinewood leaves camp to hunt as he usually does.
