When Judis met Eclipse Ateara, she was powerful, out of his league he felt. But Eclipse took a chance on the black sheep of the family, finding herself by his side more often every day. They would tease each other, becoming friends quickly at first. Judis couldn't deny his attraction to her, but love had failed him so many times before that he didn't push it. He simply let them be as they were, friends.

Friends who loved each other, but wouldn't say it. Friends, who wanted to be with the other but didn't have the guts to take the leap.

Judis barged out of Eclipse's cabin, the rain instantly starting to soak his hair and clothes but he didn't care. The tension between the two had gotten heavy and it was starting to become difficult to be in the same room as each other without wanting gazes being shared or close almost-kisses happening. But tonight, Eclipse had told Judis that a hybrid had tried to kiss her. She didn't get to finish telling him that she pulled away before Judis stormed out of the cabin door and into the pouring rain.

Love had given him hope and tore it away..

He didn't hear Eclipse calling after him until her hands were wrapped around his body stopping him from walking away. The sound of the rain was the only thing that spoke for a moment. Eclipse pressed her wet cheek to his soaked shirt, shutting her eyes so tightly as if scared he'd tear away from her. "Don't leave.." She whimpered. Judis slowly placed a hand over hers, breathing deeply as his heart raced loudly. "Eclipse.." He spoke wearily with a warning tone, her name on his lips sending shivers to her. Slowly, she let her hands fall as he turned to face her, again just the rain sounding out around them for moments as they looked into each other's eyes. "I didn't kiss him back. I.. I didn't want him." His eyes held everything he wanted to say after hearing those words. If he went in to kiss her, he wouldn't be able to stop.

Judis lifted a hand to her cheek and Eclipse pressed into it, holding onto his wrist with pleading eyes. His voice broke through the rain, "I can't ruin what we have." Eclipse furrowed her brows as she studied his face, taking in what he had meant. "I can." She spoke before standing on her tippy toes and pressing her wet lips against his. Judis didn't hesitate to kiss her back deeply, his hands pushing into her hair to hold her against him, soon lifting her by her thighs to allow her to wrap around his body as he shoved them against the outside of her cabin.

Salem and Hecate watched the interaction from the manor steps, squinting through the rain. "Fucking finally." Salem laughed out, making his sister's laugh follow as she smiled widely. "Awe.. they're so cute. How long do you think it'll take him to tell us?" Salem smirked over at his sister before turning back to watch the scene. "His smile will give him away."
