(sorry august but you arent allowed to love,also august..why do you even need to ask about this situation)
August sat outside the den thinking to himself.A few weeks ago ironrose had anounced she was expecting pups.August was very exited to be a father.He was trying to think of good pup names..though that was hard considering he didnt know what they would look like.Perhaps he could name one after himself.On a diffrent note verdaepaw had returned!..with the flu.Apperntly she had got sick on her way back,he got her up to date on all the pack events.He then snapped back to reality as he spotted dovewing across the clearing with her signature 'ohnoohnoohno' look."hey"he said as he padded over."oh um..hey"dovewing blurted."whats wrong with you?"he said slowly."nothing.."she replied."..something with midnight again?or something you cant talk about that also involves midnight?"he said quietly since there was other wolves nearby."the second thing...id tell you......but..im already in deep enough"she shrugged."anywho im..going to go hunting..bye"she said padding off."that was strange.."he mumbled to himself.(timeskip to night)He sat in his nest trying to sleep..which was very hard...since sun who had to stay in the den with them since the herb den currently was housing sick wolves,snored..alot...and loudly.He had finnally managed to doze of and then...*snap* he heard a twig shatter in the night.Was someone really up at this hour..he looked around sleepily.As he looked around he realized the den was lacking a wolf..midnight.He quietly got up and tiptoed out of the den..careful not to step on paws.He did a quick survey of camp.The apprentice nook was fine,same for the herb den,he then padded to the nursery.He gazed inside from the entrance,everyone was there...exept ironrose.His fur fluffed with alarm,ironrose often went on walks by herself at night..which was fine..exept for the fact that she shouldnt really be running around when she could have pups any day now.Also the fact that midnight was missing too really really worried him,he hadnt forgotten a few months back when midnight hinted about possibly killing ironrose...he couldnt think about it..maybe it was just a coincidence they were both missing..but..probobly not.He decided to look for her.He quietly padded out of camp,as soon as he was sure he was out of earshot of anyone in camp he took of into a frenzied sprint.He ran through the forest top speed for what seemed like an eternity..in reality it was probobly only like 30 mins.He halted as he caught a familiar scent in the wind..ironrose!He changed directions and headed towards it.He spotted ironrose sitting alone in a small clearing.He suddendly felt calm..she was ok..he had came out here for nothing..he was about to leave when another wolf appeard.The wolf's pelt was shrouded in the darkness of night..it was to dark to make out in the night."your late"ironrose sighed."yes well you never specified what time you wanted to meet"the wolf retorted.August could recognize that voice anywhere..midnight.Ironrose laughed a bit "well atleast you showed,anyway should we consider names?i mean you should have some say","maybe ony-he paused and went dead silent.Midnight closed his eyes for about 10 seconds before reopening them and looking in august's direction."i know someone is there"they said slowly.August padded out slowly "hhey"he said slowly.He looked at midnight for a few seconds then turned to ironrose."w..whats going on?"he asked slowly."well...its complicated"she said shuffling her paws.Meanwhile midnight had sat down and was grooming one of his wings."...i just want to know whhat in the world is happening"august barked."well..you..you know our pups?" "yeah"he shrugged."well their not exactly 'our' pups"she sighed."what do you mean.."he said slowly...".She then sighed "well...there not..YOUR..pups",august blinked his eyes a few times "then..whoe's are they?"he asked with confussion."midnight's..."she said quietly."Midnight!b..but.how?"he barked.Midnight stood up "well i could give you a hour long talk about how IT happens but i dont think thats what you meant"midnight said sarcasitcly.August glared at him before turning to ironrose "but but why?"he whined "you dont even talk to me for goodness sack its all about you."She barked."when was the last time you asked me how my day was,and not 'hey have you seen anything suspicous today' its all about you your always off thinking to yourself,its like i dont even exist!"she barked."so THIS is your response?why didny you just confront me!"he barked."you wouldnt have listened anyway..midnight listens he actually listens to my problems and rants..unlike you!"she growled as she stormed off.He couldnt belive what he heard...had he really just lost the love of his life..to midnight.He had ben so worried about midnight he forgot..to..be..there for her.He turned to midnight "do..do you really love her?"he whined "nope but,you do and its fun to toy with you"he laughed
