Lyra

Lyra was told stories of her ancestors from her mother. She told her tales of about the beings from a star system who look like humans but also have cat features. The dark blue-gray young pup was entranced from her mother's storytelling. She was also told that they were from a distant star system called Lyra, who her mother named her after. Her mother called these beings, Lyrans.

Her mother told her they put their DNA in a wolf's body and send that wolf to earth. This wolf have many descendants, having gained cat like abilities. But one by one, these descendants were murdered by other wolves. They don't like having wolves that are different from them. Lyra and her mother was the only ones left.

Lyra's ears perked up as she heard the sound of a branch snapping. Her mother leaped over her to protect her with her mouth curled up in a vicious snarl. Her black ticked blue coat spiked up and her gray eyes darkened with rage. Lyra pinned her ears against her head as she watched her mother in terror.

"Lyra. Honey, I want you to run and never look back, okay?" *Her mother told her, never looking back at her. Lyra was about to protest but her mother turned and snarled at her. The dark blue gray pup nodded and ran away. She heard the sounds of fighting but the sounds fade away as she ran deeper in the forest. She paused and look back to see if her mother was after her but she never showed up. Lyra never seen her mother alive again.

A year later... Lyra look down at her two new pups, her eyes full of love for them. Her mate, Orion snuggled against her. Her daughter was a Khaki green pup she named Gemini. But she never named her son yet. She can't help that he reminded her of her mother, so she named him after her. "Aquarius." She told her mate.

Lyra laid next to her den which was on the ledge of the of the rocky outercrops. The mentors den was right below her. She felt that her time was up and she was perfectly content with it. She will be with her beloved again and can finally be reunited with her mother. She look out to her pack, which she had successfully built with her mate. She knew that Downburst and her own mate will look after it when she was gone. She closed her eyes and can feel the life leaving her body. She found her self leaving her body and she saw her mother and Orion. She gave the body she dont need anymore a last glance before she finally joined her deceased love ones in the after life. Rip Lyra!
