Elowen

*'Elowen' means elm tree.* Daughter of Avalon and Hemlock, sister to Debonair.

Elowen was born in Avalon's seventh year into the medicine den with her older brother Debonair and her second mother Hemlock in attendance. She was born at midday and presented to Avalon by Hemlock after being cleaned by both Debonair and Hemlock.

Elowen was quite like both her mothers as she grew up, constantly exploring with her bountless energy like Avalon and a kind friend to her older brother Debonair, which mimicked Hemlock's loving personality.

Elowen went out one night, against the warnings of Laibhe as it was the Catalysm, desperate to explore alongside her mate Amitola. The two wolves play-fought together, refining their techniques before a shocked yelp left Amitola's maw. Elowen's tail was starting to loose fur, and the meadow floor was covered in specks of pure white fluff. They rushed to the herbalist den, where Glacialis painstakingly scoured each inch of Elowen's pelt, before being delivered the harsh news that Elowen was changing.

Amitola did not leave her side during those long three days as Elowen's tail slowly turned into that of a snake and her claws shed only to grow back ten times as strong. The young she-wolf was horrified with her transformation, believing it to be the secondcoming of the Faelci curse that her grandmother Trifolium had received, and desperately tried to think of a cure until Amitola helped her see that her 'curse' was in fact a gift. Her new tail allowed her to carry extra supplies (better then her jaws) and her new claws allowed her to take down prey far bigger than before.
