Biography
With a muscular and agile build, Oliva was on the tall side of female wolves, being around 74cm (~29 inches) at the shoulders. Her fur was well-kept, some would describe it as feathery feeling. She had a permanent limp on her left leg due to an injury.
After losing her only daughter and heir, Orka, Oliva was distraught, her entire personality shifting from a sociable wolf, into a more pessimistic outlook on life. She assumed that everybody outside of her pack was out to get her, and thus preferred to keep her pack on a tight leash, along with any potential packmates. Wolves were either in her pack, or a possible enemy, even if she had to contain the more adventurous members by force.
And after an attack on her that left her crippled, she had started completely disregarding her Advisor, even calling for the death of Lead Fawn, in a twisted form of justice.
She was killed by Parise in an elaborate plan to get her ambushed by Oso, in order to try and take both 'threats' out.
Things were lovely. The pack was happy, fed, content with life. Granite, the long reigning King since she had been a mere 2 years old, along with her Advisor, Veris, were loafing about together in the cold night... when one of their Alphas sprinted home, tail between their legs. Before they could open their mouth to say something, everyone at the den noticed the orange glow quickly coming into view.
It was like a storm that consumed the pack, and before long, the very woods they claimed as their territory was consumed by the flames, with few survivors managing to escape.
After a devastating loss, Oliva, a few newly grown adults, and a couple of apprentices, all fled the Coniferous Forest. Not knowing where to go, Oliva did her best to lead the pack into a new territory, deciding to take refuge at the Mountains, where Oliva gracefully takes the role of the new King, in her mother's place.
The pack is in shambles, a shell of its former self, but... with there being young blood to keep the pack alive, perhaps not all is lost?
While the pack was steadily getting back into the swing of things, the lands began to corrupt over the course of the year, with more horrifying things showing up every second. This causes Oliva to apply a strict rule: Nobody in her pack was to leave the den alone. It only got more strict as time went on, and the corruption grew worse.
On top of that, Fawn had fled after meeting Cassiterite, and her suspicions of both of their origins grew. She takes in one refugee, Parise, after a failed attempt to get the young wolf and the older wolf he used to be with to capture either Fawn or Cassiterite, a plot that immediately backfires and gets one of the strangers killed.
Come next spring, one of the newly formed pair-bonds in the pack - Trail and Rain - decide to have pups... Cera and Bubinga end up looking twisted in appearance, perhaps a result of when they were born.
In the background, a plot of magic and witches transpires, with a war between those who were cursing the land, and those who wanted to reverse it, the latter side being far out-numbered... but not outmatched, as their efforts eventually paid off. Once that was all said and done, a new potential villain shows her face... Oso.
On the bright side, the corruption is gone? One less thing for the pack to stress about. And Subordinate Archi had been promoted to an Advisor role at some point during the midst of it.
King Oliva and her pack finally finds her daughter and heir, Orka, days after she had gone missing... though unfortunately, they found her as a half-eaten carcass. When it is discovered to have been Oso who had done such horrid things, Oliva wants to go on a warpath immediately, but Advisor Archi barely talks her down from doing so, to let them grieve properly.
As time stretched onward, the King found herself becoming far more paranoid, especially when Subordinate Moon goes missing. They move to the Grasslands to be in more open territory... but when she gets ambushed by Lead Fawn seemingly on a whim, her left wrist being crippled as a result, she moves her pack as far down as possible - all the way to the Rainforest.
Since then, she had become cruel and unforgiving, stranger wolves must either join her pack, or be chased, possibly even killed if they are deemed "too suspicious".
King Oliva's actions were going to catch the ire of her packmates eventually, and when she goes out on a trip with Subordinate Parise, to supposedly catch the Leads Fawn and Cassiterite, she is instead ambushed at the top of a cliff by Oso, who had made her return.
Just when she thinks she has control over the situation, Parise shoved her off of the cliff, resulting in her death, while her body cushioned Oso's own fall.
Once the King's death is discovered by everyone else, Advisor Archi takes the reins, and the pack, despite their current grieving, are hopeful of a better future.
