Jarla is one of the first wolves to have fed a human before. Her and Tsarr went and found this boy who they named Bran and helped Larka become familiar with him. The two of them were in the prophecy to control the sight. When Larka and Tsarr were watching over Jarla the Balker came and attacked Jarla who was protecting the boy and killed her so Larka had to rescue Bran and take him somewhere safe.
