Dune has always been a headstrong wolf, always leaping without hesitation. Just like how she leaped without knowing this pack called the Sunset Crown Pack. She can be bull headed at times but if you want something to get done then she will get the job done. It's why as the member of The First Hunt she is the one to finish the prey off. One needs to be strong not only physically but mentally as it takes a lot not only to down a prey but to take the killing blow for her brethren so that the other's do not get further injured. She respects Ember as without him not only finding the prey, something she could never do well but to also set the prey for her to have an easier time. She always gets frustrated when a wolf gets hurt in the hunt, especially if it's during her part. It only fuels her to do better. She's in denial but Dune knows that her bones are creaking more and it takes longer to down their food, so she goes hard on teaching the next hunter, making sure they are ready so they never experience the burning shame of letting prey go at the last step.
Dune is known through out the packs history as a fierce hunter in The First Hunt that can finish any hunt no matter how big or difficult a prey can be. None of her fierce sons or daughters stayed but she knew that none of them will have any issue on taking down prey for any pack they choose to live in just like her.
