Goldenrod is one of Bear's most trusted packmates. He often goes out exploring with Bear or hunting with his fellow packmates Dusty and Flare. Goldenrod is distrustful of visitors in camp and has been instructed to watch for anything fishy.

Not only is he a scout, he's also the second in command/beta! Goldenrod will take over if something bad happens to Bear, which he and others pray nothing bad happens. Goldenrod seems to have a small crush on Bear, but he knows it won't get anywhere.

Goldenrod's voice would possibly sound Texan, or a little bit British.
