Biography
Separated from his human family by a wildfire, the young Akita/Husky mix was lucky to see the wolf pack before they smelled him. Mother told stories not only of their ancestor's strength in pulling sleds, but also their fearlessness in hunting large prey for their humans. After studying the primitive canines for a while he focused on straightening the curl in his tail and approached with a submissive posture.
Nobody is fooled by Ash's acting. His scent and creepy eyes set many on edge. He wouldn't have survived the approach if Alpha Delta hadn't been impressed by the intelligence and courage required to survive the fire so young. The scarred Alpha renamed him Ash Lad to honor his strength.
Ash had no expectation of being allowed to take a mate. He befriended the younger Li Chi, reminding her to loosen up with play. When Li Chi came of age they got permission to become the most unusual couple in the pack.
