Willow's family pack (Aurora Chasers) was wiped out by a cruel invading pack, called The Cruel Pack of the North. Left alone in a harsh blizzard, Willow wandered the wintry woods for days, almost starving to death, until one chilly morning, she caught a scent of prey. She followed that scent for hours, eventually stumbling across a freshly killed elk. She then came nose to nose with a vibrant red wolf, who was kind enough to offer her some of her kill. Grateful, Willow asked the red wolf if she would like to join her, and form a pack together. The red wolf, named Wildfire, happily agreed, and they have been companions ever since. They both shared something in common: The Cruel Pack of the North destroyed their families. Because they found each other among a cluster of willow trees, and because of Willow's name, Wildfire suggested to name their little pack Weeping Willows. Willow at first disliked the idea, but because both of their packs were destroyed in a terrible way, she agreed to the name.
Death
Willow noticed her age one morning as she went out to explore, she stumbled on a root and usually that wouldn't bother her, but for that entire day and well into the night, her entire leg ached. She sighed and went to sleep one evening, and woke up surrounded by glittering blue lights. Confused, she wandered around, and caught a familiar scent. Her heart ached as she excitedly followed it. She heard the familiar howl, and caught up. Wildfire, her coat glittering in blue, was sitting in a clearing, waiting for her. Willow bounded up to her, feeling young once again, and greeted her. They talked and talked for hours, grooming and snuggling. After what felt like an eternity, Wildfire asked, "Are you ready to leave our pack?"
Willow looked mournfully back at where she came from, but slowly nodded, knowing she had chosen a good leader to help and protect the pack.
