Kyo hadn't meant to buy any more pups, their own pack was overflowing with new youngsters and many more she-wolves were pregnant but a small male pup had caught his eye. Small with a chocolate coat and unusual white markings he was quite a pretty looking pup. But was intrigued him the most was that whenever a wolf came to his alpha to ask about the price for the pup he would snarl and show his fangs, obviously the pup had spunk. That in itself was a turn off for most Alphas as they didn't want trouble in the ranks but some where still interested but after talking to his alpha they would stalk off in disgust. Eventually Kyo couldn't contain his curiosity and had to find out why this particular pup was getting left behind each time. Although the pup had spunk and loads of potential he was deaf which meant he would be more of a burden to a pack then an asset as he couldn't hunt or fight. Kyo knew that looking at the pups alpha he would most likely not last the trip back to his pack, unwanted pups were often killed or left to die. Horrible by it was the law of the pack, only the strong survive. After a very short bartering with the alpha Kyo gave the pup a sharp nudge with his snout to make the pup move then trotted off beside him. After having much practice with Dandelion Kyo was able to lead the confused male pack to his pack, he wasn't put off by the smaller male baring his teeth if he came to close, the pup was scared and he wouldn't be blaming him for his attitude. Once pack in his territory Kyo relaxed and led him over to the mothers den where no doubt Dandelion would be located. Using complicated signals he relayed to Dandelion that he wanted her to be in charge of this small pup who was the same as her, he expected her to train him in their ways. It didn't take long before they were inseparable and Kyo wouldn't be surprised if they ended up being more then just friends.
