Rules of traveler wolf.
1. If she has puppies I can get 1 of my choice. This can of course be discussed if you really want the one I choose.
2. Always keep her hunger above 80%
3. Dont change her name
4. You can add decor, but you can't remove it.
5. She can always be returned.
6. If I see her being abused or being kept in an unhealthy den she will be recalled.
7. Do not keep her longer than 6 rollovers. (Unless Pregnant or nursing)
8. Can be called back at any time due to several reasons.
9. Leave a cool story about her travels. I love reading those.

Travel Lore

Pack Of Reflected Stars

Kalua was rather young to be traveling without a full-grown wolf, so it's not very surprising that she couldn't traverse the rocky mountains to the west without mistakes. Tumbling down a slope was not among her favorite things to do, and that was before she landed strangely on her left front paw. Kalua was snarling at the rocks beneath her newly-injured limb when she heard a sort of whine-warble that was halfway between concern and amusement, turning to see a kindly-looking red and white she-wolf with a bundle of herbs in her jaws. "Come little one, back with me to the cove, our pack sees travelers come by very rarely, and that paw needs healing regardless." Without any more pomp, the she-wolf turns and heads up a path on the slope which was hard to see from where Kalua had come from, but was much easier to travel.

Kalua lurched up onto three paws and scrambled after the she-wolf with a cry of, "wait!" The she-wolf slowed her pace enough that Kalua could catch up before murmuring around the herbs in her jaw to inform the wanderer that her name was Nosferatu, and that she was the Herbalist for the Pack Of Reflected Stars.

It was a frustrating journey up the mountainside, but eventually Kalua tumbled into a cove with a perfectly still pool at it's center, odd because of the tumbling waterfall that emptied itself into a stack of boulders at it's westernmost point. Many eyes turned to her all at once, as she was approached by a very intimidating red-white and purple she-wolf with glowing teal eyes. The leader, for that's all she could be, leans down to sniff at the young traveler before huffing a wolfish grin and speaking in a tone that carried through the cove, "Greetings, young one, I am Nyota, Second Alpha of the Pack Of Reflected Stars. You have shown a great strength to make it here, and should count this pack your home for as long as a traveler's flighty heart can remain in one place."

Kalua, too, smiled a wide smile and thanked the leader before allowing Nosferatu to lead them to the medicine-cave, where their paw could be healed before they rested.

Husky, the local herbalist, has met Kalua during her foraging for herbs. Kalua was visibly exhausted and dehydrated, hiding from scorching sunrays under the big rock. She was immediately escorted to the pack's hideout to rest. To show her gratitude, Kalua become a scout and helped the young hunting group to navigate through Rainforest's lands.
Few days later the pack's leader decided to move to the Tundra. Together with another wolf traveler - Woods, both scouts became navigators for the entire pack, leading the group through distant lands. After reaching their destinations, Kalua decided to continue her expeditions in the Rainforest.

The Beholder Tower greeted Kaula with silent observation. The wolves did not make contact and did not look very healthy, although she could not explain why. Deadly Void - the only wolf who seemed healthy turned out to be a little crazy (but... courteous?). On the one hand, the unfortunate traveler had to listen for hours about the great mission that the Beholders had undertaken, on the other hand, she was treated to the most delicious morsels and pleasant herbs. In general, the impression remained cloudy. Having somehow gotten rid of the obsessive "mad prophet", Kaula moved on.

Kalua found herself among a boisterous pack. They called themselves the Adolphous pack. Stuff was starting to settle down after the whole trick or treat thing. Don't get her wrong, she enjoyed watching the pups and their sitters or parents take them to visit random packs. Their costumes most of the time were always so cute.

Elder members were dropping like flies. She felt bad for the pack but didn't know where she could help. Finally she decided it was time to leave. With a farewell she set off a tasty bone in her maw as she did so!

Kalua found herself in a large deciduous forest at night. A strange blue glowing mist coated the forest floor, putting her on edge. She'd heard rumors of wolves disappearing the night, being carried off by lights that flickered in the distance. Just thinking about it made her pelt prickle. She looked around her cautiously for a way out and noticed a bright blue shape: a bird. A pheasant, perhaps? Strutting along with bright blue feathers. It seemed to glow like this mysterious mist.
Before Kalua could observe the bird further, the sound of a wolf's paw steps snapped her out of her thoughts.
"You're new to the Starshade woods, aren't you? I'm Léonce, a retired hunter for the Starshade Pack. Now I mentor pups," Léonce introduced. "If you're traveling, come and stay with us for a while. Our pack loves travelers."
Kalua was delighted to hear that travelers were welcome and followed Léonce into the woods, happy to have met someone who knew this place better than she. Léonce was a lean wolf, his pelt a pale grey ish rose. He glowed softly, especially the yellow spots that ornamented his sides.
Léonce explained that the Starshade Woods are permeated with lunar energy and that lunar creatures sometimes wind up in this world due to the large amount of energy. The get this place confused for their own world. Léonce glowed because of prolonged exposure to the energy and the fact that the yellow spots on his pelt were a star-touched mark. All the Starshade wolves glowed for the same reasons.
Kalua found herself looking at the densest patch of trees, the leaves shading the interior from even starlight. Within, many wolves padded about, going in and out of dens made from underneath overlapping roots. The place was by no means dark; the glow of the mist and the wolves kept it bright and gave the den an almost ethereal look.
While Kalua stayed, she helped to look after the pack's bouncing puppies. Léonce spent a lot of time with her just talking and sharing stories. He was very interested in her tales of adventure. Finally when she packed her things to go, Léonce presented her with a branch with bright red leaves. He told her to take it as a token of good luck. Kalua took it with her gratefully and continued on her journey ahead.

Kalua recognized the smell of the Starshade Woods in an instant. She ran into the Starshade den to greet all her old friends from the pack, happy to take a little reprieve within the familiar territory. She was a bit dismayed to learn Léonce had since departed the pack, however she was happy to meet some new friends within the den. She stayed for a few moons caring for pups and catching up with old friends. As she prepared to leave, Maleko the alpha gave her a set of bones to take with her as a memento of her stay. With that, Kalua headed off on her journey to find new packs and experiences.

Lore : Kalua was traveling through the forest as usual, wandering until she eventually got to the destined place that fate would place on her. After days of wandering, she made it to the Whiteflower pack, home of all sorts of natural and unnatural wolves, it made her wonder how so many unusual wolves could find solace in being in a pack together. Once she got inside she was given plenty of handfuls of food and toys and her own private cave with another wolf who seemed to be there for the same reason as her. It seemed this pack would be the time she could relax. Like a hotel for wolves?

Kalua has arrived at The Lobhadh

Lore : Kalua stumbled into a marshy swamp, and upon first glance the land seemed full of life, with birds flying through the air and frogs jumping around her paws, but the further into the swamp she travelled the less life she saw...

As night hit and Kalua's paws grew tired, she found herself following a trail of fireflies to a clearing surrounded by large mangrove trees. Kalua took one look at the dying swamp behind her and slipped through the trees, but as soon as her paws hit the soft marshy ground on the other side of the trees, a large wolf tackled her to the ground, the pair of wolves went tumbling into the side of a mangrove tree, and the large wolf jumped to his paws and bared his teeth.

" i mean no harm ! " Kalua yelped, opening her eyes to a one-eyed wolf standing above her. his fur was the color of a fox's and it was mixed in with heavy black patterns. the wolfs ears perked up and his face turned as another wolf walked up behind them.

" Eimear what have i told you about dealing with new wolves ! " the badger-furred female wolf scolded 'Eimear'. "I thought she was one of them " he muttered, hoping off Kalua and finally letting her stand. She shook off her fur as Eimear got a nudge from the smaller wolf to go back to camp.

" I am truly sorry about that ! I'm Eithne and i welcome you to join our pack for a few days after that.. Rude introduction ! " Eithne smiled at kalua and motioned for her to follow her to where Kalua could see a few wolves walking through the clearing. Eithne turned back to Kalua one more time, with a more serious look on her face. "Oh ! and, i wouldn't recommend going out into the swamp alone, its a rotten place out there.. "

Kalua has arrived at Winterset Pack

Lore : Kalua found herself traveling the peaks of an unfamiliar mountain range, paws aching from the cold hard rocks that she had to traverse. Weariness was starting to set in as the sun lowered, she was becoming less sure of each step, but refused to rest without shelter. Kalua could have sworn she smelled wolves not too long ago, but the bleak faces of the mountain cliffs seemed like they offered little for a pack, and she had yet to catch sight of anyone for hours.
The rocks under her unsteady paws began to crumble and shift, causing her to lose her balance and start to tumble. Much like her first stop as a traveler, Kalua found herself injured at the bottom of a hill. 'What wolf wants to live in the mountains' she wonders spitefully, deciding to simply rest there and try to find her way out of the mountain in the morning. She was just beginning to doze through the pain when a voice called out.
"Traveler?" they asked, the form of a wolf coming into view, "Are you alright?"
"I've been better," she replies as the stranger moves to her side.
"I'll help you walk, even with the spring thaw the mountains can be freezing at night." The wolf braces her as she stands, allowing Kalua to rest against her as they begin to walk down an unseen path. "My name is Eria, I am the lead wolf of the pack that resides in these mountains, you may stay with us as long as you need to rest and recover."
