Frosted Digits: The child of Demigods

Frosted Digits is a frosty looking pup who is the son of Delta Aquarii and HIP Cancri. Cancer and Aquarius never really liked each other. In fact, they were polar opposites in terms of both personality and appearance. Their children were near opposites in fur color, but HIP was far kinder than his mother, Cancer. The two came together, ignoring the hatred their parents shared for one another, and in turn had their first and only litter of three pups. Frosted was one of those pups born.

He was born in the spring in the Galactic Ones pack, where both of his parents resided. He is friends with the alpha's daughters, Cherry Blossoms, Skyberry and Shiruku, and enjoys playing with the other pups of his age in the pack. Though, Frosted tends to be a bit much whenever he's hanging out with the other pups. Even his half cousin from Cancer's family often finds himself overwhelmed by Frosted Digit's high energy.



Ever since the sudden losses of both Shiruku and Skyberry, Frosted Digits felt rather down. He looked to his half cousin, Nooman, for comfort. He was there to support Frosted Digits when he was down, and the two started spending more time together despite their differences. They even befriended Kumo's pups, Haruki and Asuka alongside Golden Sun and her sister, Radiance. Together, they all started a little friendgroup and included Cherry Blossoms in it. The group has had their ups and downs, but soon it would come crashing down.

Broken Bonds

It was late afternoon in late fall. Frosted Digits was resting near the heart of the pack's territory in a large, cozy burrow. His peaceful rest was interrupted by the sound of furious snarls and grows coming from further South in the pack's territory. Frosted Digits woke up with a yawn, not seeming too concerned about the fight. However, the voice sounded too similar to ignore. His cousin, Nooman, was yelling at someone. Frosted Digits stuck his nose out the burrow, sniffing the air. There were a lot of scents in the air. This was a pack's territory, after all.

Frosted lazily crawled out of the comfort of his burrow. The angered voices seemed to have drawn the attention of Alpha Cherry Root and Queen Daybreak. They were already racing towards the scene. Frosted just casually walked towards the direction of the voice, like he was going for a stroll. It seemed like Frosted was lacking his high energy today, but it wasn't exactly due to the dropping temperature.



Upon finally reaching the scene, Frosted saw that Akira had a fresh, long cut on his left eye. He and the pack leaders were moving up North. They took three adults with them, wherever they were going. Though, what he saw just a few feet ahead was rather concerning. It was Nooman, and he was bleeding by his throat. Did they get into a fight? But why? Even Asuka and Haruki were there, having reached Nooman before he did. They were expressing their concern for Nooman as well as Cherry Blossoms. Where was she, anyway? Frosted Digits knew something was wrong, but he couldn't approach his cousin to ask why. Azalae, the pack's prophet, brushed past him in a rather aggressive manner, like he wasn't supposed to take a step closer. Frosted didn't, and instead, remainded standing with only his thoughts.

"I had a feeling this would happen," Azalae said, getting between Asuka and Haruki. "You must leave this place now. Your presence will only cause more pointless deaths down the line." Her voice was harsh and cold. She wasn't asking him to leave. She was telling him to leave. This just left Frosted feeling more confused. What did the prophet mean by "more pointless deaths"? Does that mean my cousin is a murderer?! No... That doesn't make sense! The snow speckled adolescent was flooded with all sorts of questions in his head. Ones that he knew might go unanswered.

"IF YOU KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN, WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM!?" The fury in Nooman's voice caught him off guard. He's never seen Nooman so upset before. Even the pale pelted twins were startled by his sudden outburst. "YOU COULD HAVE SAVED HER! YOU COLD HAVE SAVED ALL OF THEM!" His cousin sounded pretty upset as he spoke, but Azalae just turned away from him. Did he mean Akira? But save who from him? The conversation only left him feeling more confused.

Azalae let out a sigh, still looking away from Nooman. "The prophecy requires sacrifice, Nooman. I'm sorry that Golden Sun is dead, but-" "Sorry? SORRY?!" The dark pelted male cut her off as his dark eyes pierced through her. "YOUR LITTLE PROPHECY KILLED HER AND HER COUSINS!" Nooman would snap his jaws before promptly turning away from the three, running towards the open meadows of the Grasslands. Golden Sun is dead...? Frosted Digits looked on in disbelief, watching as his cousin ran away. He couldn't muster up the strength to run after him. It oddly didn't feel right to him.

"He's still bleeding! We have to go after him-" Asuka pleaded, but the prophet cut her off. "No, Asuka. He will be living on his own now. This is only the start of Trinity's prophecy I foresee," Azalae said, nudging the two back towards the heart of their territory. The twins protested, but they eventually complied. "Thank you for hanging back, Frosted Digits. All your questions shall be answered soon enough," she said with a nod of her head, leaving the speckled male behind.

Frosted took one look at the meadows before looking back at the heart of the territory. He walked with his head low and ears pinned back towards his burrow. I just hope you'll be safe out there, Nooman. Please don't die on me...

An Era of Darkness



Akira had completely changed on the pack ever since the passing of the previous leaders. Akira banished princess Radiance, as well as Delta Aquarii, Cloudy Night and two other females. He killed two elderly males who spoke out against his orders, and the blood of those slain wolves seemed to transform him. If you didn't know Akira before, you would have never guessed he was the kind and trustworthy pup with blue fur and blue eyes just a few months ago. Now, he goes by the name of King Akuma, the only leader of the pack. His fur is a fiery flurry of red, orange, yellow and black. His eyes were black with slit red pupils. This was not the Akira that was once an heir to the throne.



Frosted Digits, upon turning one, discovered an ability of his. One that most likely came from his mother's side of the tree. He could freeze things with his paws. Although he had some controk over his ice ability, his emotions often lead him to freeze the grass around him on accident. This followed by his near constant stress didn't help the young male deal with his abilities. If only his mother, Delta, were still around, then maybe she'd be able to teach him how to control these powers.

Frosted, Asuka and Haruki were forbidden to hunt for the first few weeks after they reached adulthood. It was the order of King Akuma, as he didn't trust the trio to not run away since they were part of the prophecy. Azalea didn't seem too upset about their "imprisonment" in the pack, however. She said it was all part of Trinity's prophecy, and that the blight shall soon come and save them all. This didn't make him feel any better about his situation, but Asuka and Haruki were there to keep him somewhat sane. Their confinement in the den of Trinity brought the three even closer to each other. Their bond was one of the only things keeping Frosted sane at that point.
