Puka

A pup born from Corae and Meeya. He was part of Meeya's last litter, and Alpha Daun allowed him to stay.

--Meeya named the pup Puka.
--It was decided that Puka would succeed Rwupe when he's older. He would have to be sex-changed because he needs to be a she-wolf.

--Before Puka became an adult, she gave her consent to be sex-changed.

--Now that Puka is an adult, he replaces Rwupe as a Luna Chaser. He was also sex-changed and has become a she-wolf.
--Two years into adulthood, Puka has found herself attracted to Lamia, a fellow she-wolf. She likes Lamia's silky and iridescent fur. As two she-wolves, they cannot produce pups of their own. It makes her think that had she remained a male, they could have had their own pups.
--After a few months of courting, Lamia and Puka become Pairbonds. They are the first same-sex wolves to pairbond in the pack, and though it's a little strange, everyone seems accepting enough.
--During one of Lamia's heats, it was found out that Puka became a male again. No one knew how that happened, but the bigger problem was that Puka, a Luna, is now a male. There should be no males among those living in the Red Moon Cave, so the others wondered about what would be done about this. However, contrary to their thoughts, Alpha Quat decided to just let Puka be. Puka had been with the pack for 3 years already and was a good Hunter, so why should it matter if she--Puka still identified as a she-wolf--was a male now? Alpha Quat just lightly punished Shasta, the former Luna Lead Huntress, since she should've been more responsible with the affairs of the Red Moon Cave. "However, if this happens again, the punishment will be more severe," said Alpha Quat off-handedly.
--Now that Zeb has grown up, Puka retires and becomes an Elder. Lamia is delighted, since they can now spend more time together.
--Puka was greatly saddened by Lamia's death. For a while, she refused to eat and step out of the cave, but Sahned and Gwuira refused to let her rot away like this. "How unsightly! You're wasting your time rotting away like this! Do you think even Lamia would accept this shameful behavior?" Gwuira said. Sahned hurried to clarify, "What she means is that we're worried for you! I'm sure Lamia would want you to live a good life before you join her." "Perhaps that's what she wants! If she wants to die quicker, let her be!" Though Gwuira said that, she often drops by to check on Puka and leave her food. The care shown by her cave mates comforted Puka.
