And Morose. Although Deezer was a dishonest wolf, he was a well-liked teacher and storyteller. Like his story of saving Lappen from a pack of 4 bears, 5 including the "very vicious" club which Deezer does of course. The story doesn't have an ounce of truth, but sometimes it doesn't matter if a story is true or not. Deezer often lied so he would be well liked, this trait unfortunately backfired. With many misunderstanding the reason behind his lies. Lappen decides that after Rose 🌹 died Deezer would be the new head mentor, at first Deezer wanted nothing to do with the younger pups. They were most scared of him, due to the fact he would have naps beside a river bed and blend in and get mad when they accidentally wake him. Although he soon became well liked when he started telling the pups why they needed to train in this particular task. Like hiding was a good skill to have, because otherwise he would have died to the Crawler. (Of course this wasn't true, the most dangerous situation Deezer has been was when a bee, as he states brutally attack him. When it wasn't a bee, but thistle he accidentally stepped on.) Deezer's stories often (basically always) having him as the hero or him being able to take care of himself. Many pup would argue about needing teamwork, because they would be just like him. How was Deezer going to convince them this time? With a story of course! (one that's 100% not true.)
