Eir was once known as Firefly for the intense personality she always had. She doesn't remember her mother but she does remember that her father paired with a male shortly after her death. Both of them belonged to a pack called "Brightest Lake" situated near a large lake that they used as a water source.
Firefly's fathers were attentive and loving parents who showered her and her brother with love. They were excellent fisherman who could leave for a few hours and return with plenty of food for all four of them.
When she and her brother became adults her brother left to start his own pack leaving Firefly's explosive personality in its wake. She became sarcastic and rude to everyone as a method to keep herself from coming close to anyone.
Shortly after her fathers adopted some pups whom had lost their mother a huge fire blazed through the small forest that housed them. Firefly and her sister escaped, carried in her jaws. Unfortunately the flames had separated her and her smaller sister from their fathers. Left with her younger sister in tow Firefly searched all across the ashen covered aftermath looking for her fathers. Unfortunately they discovered the remains of their family, they had never escaped the den.
Firefly traveled on, taking care of the smaller pup whom she called Moth. Moth grew close to Firefly in this time despite her aggressive personality. Together they traveled for close to a year before meeting Loki on the edge of his territory. He invited both of them to join where they each took on a new name. Firefly, now known as Eir became a Pupsitter while her sister Moth, now known as Lofn became the Herbalist.
Eir would serve many years taking care of the pack's pups, never pairing as she much prefered a single life. Her pups would leave her care and head off into the wide expanse to find homes of their own. She was happy to just have a place of her own.
