Calcite was not oblivious to the way wolves thought of him. He had heard it from his litter mates and elders of his home pack. He was just a little too aggressive for most of the pack's friendly disposition.

Calcite's litter mates had left Atira pack years ago to start their own pack elsewhere. They had left him behind saying he wouldn't contribute much since he wasn't the best at hunting with others or at all really. So he found solace with being alone and there wasn't a role that would give him more solitude than being a herbalist. Of course you didn't start learning to be a herbalist so he could be more useful in the future that would be ludicrous.

That day he had gotten the opportunity to leave the pack the day Jasper was granted his wish. The others had Jasper's request but they didn't want to send him off on his own and with Calcite being the only one offering to leave with him. The pack decided that Calcite was better than nothing plus despite his demeanor they knew he would take care of his little brother.

Calcite has found himself as lonely as before. His cousin wasn't as bad as he had thought and especially after he met Tudor and he joined the pack!

He get along better with Tudor then Jasper so much in fact that he wanted to become his mate! They were bonded over many of moons together where a lot found them aggressive they found each other be the best thing in these life. Until the very last breath.

He had left his love behind but he would wait and he knew Tudor would as well but, in the meantime, he would continue to guide their son has he watched from above.
