Morpheus

Morpheus is a mystery to most of the wolves in this pack... He has a personality similar to Adsartha's, independent but still present. He came from a distant forest, which is very dense and therefore almost always dark. Perhaps that is why his eyes are so bright, and he has exceptional night vision. But despite the mysterious air, Morpheus is a trusted figure within the pack, a wolf that the others know they can count on when things get tough.
Some time after your arrival, a bond was created between him and Adsartha, and it wasn't long before they became a pair, and also the beta of the pack. Other wolves curiously observe the dynamics between the two, as they are both quiet and more introverted, and yet the affection and love are clear in the gestures they exchange.
He is a very quiet wolf, but it did not take long for his wit and intelligence to become well known. He's also large in stature and has a lot of physical strength, having taken on the role of finishing off his group's hunts.

But perhaps the most mysterious thing about Morpheus is not him, but his traveling companion. What is he? No one knows. Some kind of canine, it seems... And he can make sounds similar to those of wolves, like growls, grunts and whines, and even the occasional howl, but other than that... He doesn't speak. His eyes are bright like Morpheus's, and there seem to be no pupils... This was disconcerting to everyone at first, who didn't know how to act around this strange creature.
His name is the Silent Shadow.

It wasn't easy for Morpheus to lose Adsartha. The she-wolf was older than him, and she reached the end of her days before he was truly prepared for it, even though deep down he knew it would happen at some point. What saved him from drowning in loneliness was Atalanta. Alongside Charna, he was also a valuable mentor for his daughter to become as good an alpha as her mother had been.
The last days of his life were very silent. Morpheus barely spoke, as quiet as Silent Shadow, but instead of being depressed, the wolf was at peace. His time was coming, and soon he would be with Adsartha again.
When Morpheus closed his eyes to avoid waking up, Silent Shadow simply got up and left, never to be seen by that pack again.
