A bold honey-tinted wolf, Tanager is more bark than bite. Rougher in his younger years, with scars and grisly stories to back up his explosive past, he has aged into a graceful and exalted member of the pack. He earned the title of Lead Chaser at a young age, and while the insignia went to his head in his immaturity, he now uses it to mentor the younger members of the pack to blossom into skilful and brilliant hunters. He's unyielding with the more ill-tempered youngsters within the pack, adamant that he can 'straighten them out' and earn their respect. Despite his stern attitude, he has the most fondness for them, seeing himself in their juvenile arrogance.
