Rykenah

The kind-hearted but fierce leader of the Saber Pack, Rykenah is known for helping others but not being afraid of confrontation if it means protecting her pack. 

Her first litter was young Saivas and Niiva, fathered by her first love and pack member, Jakor. If he will be her chosen mate remains to be seen.

She can often be heard referred to by her packmates as "Sweetnose", given the markings and coloring of her snout.

Rykenah made the hard decision to choose the older and more experienced Vandr over Jakor as her lead male, a choice that weighs heavily on her mind as she expects another litter from a male of another pack. This decision fractured her relationship with Jakor, leading to the pair becoming distant, and Jakor often being gone hunting, and a feeling of resentment to grow inside Niiva towards her mother.

After a few winters leading the pack with Vandr, and having two daughters who sadly never saw their first year pass, she was deeply saddened by his death, a death of a trusted friend she'd come to lean on, and her own mortality began to dawn on her. Looking to the future in honor of her fallen mate, she silently chose two young wolves she'd taken in, Freyla and Kaine, to lead the pack after her own passing. Her children from her first litter showed no interest in leading the pack and therefore had no objections when she told them in private. She is uncertain if she will have another litter with another male, wanting to focus on nurturing her pack instead. Only time will tell if she and Jakor can repair their bond and she can bring her first family back together.
