The Founder
"Too impulsive, too hot-headed to ever lead this pack"Â Â was what wolves in her previous pack called the Beta's daughter. The elderly Alpha had no pups of his own so the leadership automatically descended to the Beta's firstborn. Io knew too that she would never lead a pack, at least this one.
Tired of the talking behind her back, Io left her pack and chose to roam the wilderness on her own. For many moons she roamed lands far and wide until one day, she collapsed from dehydration in a desert. She woke up to a concerned wolf named Jericho tending to her and met the ragtag group of wolves that lived around the oasis.
At first, she was adamant to leave and continue her perpetual travel, but Jericho persuaded her into staying. Overtime, she became the outsider to an already misfit group to the leader of a pack of strong wolves she'd proudly watched grow in number as the seasons continued to change.
