Magdalene "mag-duh-leen"
The younger of two siblings, Magdalene -- or Maggie -- leads alongside her older sister, Amaranth, as one of two Queens for the Disciples. Although not named after anything in particular, her name means "the high tower" in French and Hebrew.
Although an overly exuberant goofball, and too pure of heart for her own good, Maggie is a skilled huntress who excels at chasing and cornering her prey right where they need it to go. She's the friendlier of the two Queens, and the one her pack mates will go to if they have any complaints or problems they don't want Amaranth to scold them over.
Although speedy and loud, Maggie has a gentleness to her often seen when she's left alone to her own devices, and large bugs of all kinds seem to flock to her, tickling her ears and landing on her nose. She speaks to them as if she too can hear their voices, or that they can understand her.
