Ynoth is often jokingly referred to as Revukan’s shadow, both due to her colouring and her status in the pack as his second-in-command. The two are not necessarily romantically involved, rather they found each other in similar ideas of how a pack should be run, not that this stops rumours. She found him, accompanied by Tala, looking fairly lost in the Mountains that had always been her home. Interested, they got to talking, and when Revukan asked her to be the co-founder of his pack, she agreed easily.
Sometimes, wolves do not understand how Revukan, the bright bubbly spark that is their alpha, could choose someone as morose and in-the-shadows as Ynoth to be his second-in-command. They would without fail find a set of claws on their throat that night, yellow eyes blazing into theirs, and realize that she is not as much morose as deliberately silent, not so much in-the-shadows as observant, and they would realize that accepting her command as Revukan’s second and trust in Revukan’s insight were necessities for their continued stay in the pack, and if they did not agree, she would know, and she would find them.
Even Ynoth cannot stay silent all the time, however, and she likes to hang out and chat with the Denmakers and Pupsitters, enjoying watching the pups with them. In opposition to Revukan’s aloofness and wild fantasy, Ynoth is down-to-earth and enjoys getting down into the grit of the daily life in Fen, which they greatly appreciate.
Sometimes, Revukan needs more hard-handed manners to get his head out of the clouds, and Ynoth is more than willing to provide them.
