Kalika was the second ever member of the pack and somewhat of a cofounder. While Dimitrius was the pack's only leader, she served as his right-hand wolf as well as his close and trusted friend. She often gave him advice and support, and he knew that he would always have her shoulder to lean on. Although Dimitrius often felt unable to reveal his true feelings to other pack members, he confided in Kalika freely. They were inseparable friends. Kalika cared just as much about the pack and its wellbeing as he did. She often stepped in for him when he was unable to fulfill his duties and was seen as a trusted authority figure to her packmates, although she was careful not to overstep the boundaries of her power, leaving the duty of leading the pack to Dimitrius. She took pride in her ability to lead both her packmates and her hunting group, but felt no desire to have power or control over the pack or anyone. She was good at remaining calm under pressure and making difficult decisions, able to give rational and level-headed advice to Dimitrius when he felt overwhelmed by emotion.
Kalika had a strong bond with her friend and leader, Dimitrius. They had known each other for years and care deeply for each other. Due to Dimitrius' polyamorous sexuality, they used to sometimes seek romantic affection from each other, but when Kalika has bonded with Zephyr, she felt right in being monogamous with him. She considered herself "married" to her role in the pack and devoted to her job, but spared as much time as she could to spend with her mate when she wasn't busy. She could sometimes forget to set aside time for him, which made him feel neglected and jealous, but she tried her best to balance her personal life and her duties as lead hunter and second-in-command. She was the calm and rational half of the pairing, and was usually the only wolf who could successfully soothe Zephyr's anger. It sometimes felt frustrating or draining for Kalika to have to deal with her mate's emotional problems on top of her work, but she would do anything for the wolf she loved, and she was reminded that her patience with him was worth the effort in the brief moments they had alone. Despite Zephyr's temper, he was a very doting and affectionate mate, almost to the point of annoyance. They didn't always get along; in fact, the two hated each other when Zephyr first joined the pack, and he was only allowed to stay because of Dimitrius' kindness. Zephyr was usually away for long periods of time on scouting missions, while Kalika was off on hunts, so it took a long time for them to get to know each other. But as the two were forced to work together and get along with each other, they began to realize that the other wasn't so bad, and eventually came to resolve their differences and become good friends, which quickly turned into romantic affection. They cherished each other deeply and enjoyed the little time they had together, both being busy supporting the pack. They now have all the time in the world to spend with each other.
