Soul

When Soul first met Tala and told her he was trying to set up his own pack, he was ecstatic that she had seemed so accommodating and willing to help him. She guided him to Snowy and the two became fast friends.

However, the first sign that something was wrong occurred when he had tried to recruit their third member, a wolf named Windrunner. Although his initial attempts to recruit the wolf were met with derision, the she-wolf had brought Windrunner behind a tree when he had tried to leave and returned with him shortly after, telling him that shaken and trembling WIndrunner had graciously accepted their offer to join the pack. Although concerned, Soul chalked it up to fear of Tala's superior fighting skill as he himself had been subject to her might during a mission where she taught him how to fight.

Despite their initial reservations, Windrunner and Soul became fast friends and he would acted as their scout, serving as the pack's eyes and ears in faraway lands while Soul and Snowy worked to claim the  deciduous forest for their pack. The two of them got really close and eventually they a puppy, Blue eyes.

However, as the pack grew, Soul eventually spent more and more time away from the camp, exploring territories further and further away in order to bring back supplies the pack needed. This caused some strain on their relationship as the pair rarely spent any time together at all.

Whiling hunting a medium prey with Chase and Chewy,  Chewy sustained an open wound and was knocked unconscious. Chase and Snowy blamed the other for the mistake and their falling out eventually resulted in a brawl. Without any eyewitnesses, Soul was forced to punish both the she-wolves and remove them both from the hunting party. Chase was sent to Herbert to learn how to become a medicine wolf while Snowy was confined to the camp to look after Windrunner and Nightclaw's litter.This only served to further strain their relationship.

When their punishment concluded, Chase chose to stay on as a herbalist while Snowy returned to being a hunter although she was still pretty close to the pups she had looked after. She also became closer to Windrunner as the father doted on his first litter.

One day, Windrunner came back to camp asking after Soul. Apparently a potentially dangerous situation had arisen in the nearby Ramune pack and they desperately needed pupsitters to look after their pups. As Soul had recently departed the pack for an expedition to the Desert in search of Winterfat for Chase, Snowy made the executive decision to travel to Ramune to offer her assistance. She fell sick while looking after the puppies but still continued to look after the pups.

After about a week, Snowy returned to Pack Snuggles and caught Soul just about to leave for yet another expedition without even asking after her. Finally coming to terms with how distant their relationship now was, Snowy was heartbroken. Windrunner, who had become considerable more free with the addition of a new scout to the pack, comforted the crying wolf and when she entered heat again, she asked him to father her litter.

On 18th Decemeber, Soul realised what had happened and the two of them sat down and talked things though. After coming to an understanding, they are now expecting their second litter.

On 20th December, Chase ran into camp, informing them that she had found Windrunner dead. Their hearts sank as they brought his body into their camp and the decision to immortalize him in the clan dynasty was unanimous.

On 26th December, Soul once again encountered Tala. She once again challenged him to a fight when he won, he dedicated the victory to Windrunner. She was however, still tight lipped about what exactly she did to him that had him fearing her for the rest of his life.

27th March, Snowy passed in her sleep and Soul began to withdraw into his den..
