Formerly known as Jackal's Bite, Bringer of New Horizons is at best considered arrogant, and at worst considered an egomaniac. He doesn't play well with others in most scenarios; well, unless he thinks their relationship could be mutually beneficial. Honey sweet words spoken by Bringer of New Horizons serve only one of two purposes; one of which being to manipulate, and the other being to satisfy an itch of his own.
To double cross Bringer of New Horizons is to wish death upon yourself at the very best, even as the years wane on and he grows older. His bemusement in the suffering of those who defy him is well known and acknowledged by his followers, and so (for the most part), the Children of Helios fall in line behind him.

From the time he was a young adult, Bringer of New Horizons found himself wandering the wilderness alone, exiled from the place he once called his pack's territory following one sharp remark and snap of teeth too many directed at the Alpha's son. Abandoning his then name, unknown to the present pack, he wandered the wilderness for many moon cycles with only the company of his friend, a she-wolf known as Hyperion. The two would form a close bond, and abandon the worlds they each left behind; in honor of this new world, the two would take on new names. His name would become Jackal's Bite, and hers Hornet's Sting.
Nearing the end of their first year together, the two would come upon a cave hidden high among the heights of the mountains they long admired to the west, a spacey alcove decorated by crystal formations. In it's beauty Hornet's Sting found an interest, though she thought little of the discovery. Jackal's Bite, however, saw something more.
With the growing hatred he held in his heart for those who had unrightfully exiled him, even cycles after, the heavenly glow of the crystalline cave set a plan in motion that Jackal's Bite had no intention of letting go anytime soon. With Hornet's Sting at his side, he would set about putting this plan into action.
In the cycles to follow, the Children of Helios would rise, hailing the crystals of the alcove as a gift from the prophet Helios of which Jackal's Bite -- now Bringer of New Horizons -- claimed to hear speaking in his ear every night as he laid down to rest. Lonesome and lost wolves were drawn to their cause faster than their newfound territory could keep up with, and the newfound leader could hardly maintain his excitement. At his side Hornet's Sting would guide, taking on the title Sunshine's Firstborn in honor of being proclaimed his first follower and greatest supporter.
