0 months: Born into the Ashen pack alongside a brother. Their mother is Cloud, who had recently joined the pack after losing her own. Both pups are born very weak, and the male dies within a few days. 

1 ½ months: Silt has grown stronger and is now able to toddle around the Nursery. Cloud, concerned for their health in the cold Mountain weather, keeps them from going outside; Silt doesn't mind, especially since the pack's youngest wolves, adolescents Mistral and Mullein make a point of visiting them several times a day. 

3 ½ months: As winter approaches, the pack makes the decision to descend from the Mountains into the neighbouring Coniferous Forest. They decide to move when Silt is four months old, as that is when they will be considered old enough to leave the Nursery. Silt is excited for the adventure, and spends a lot of time zooming around the den and chattering about it to their adolescent packmates, who feign excitement for the little one. 

4 months: The pack makes the descent into the Forest. Silt consents to being carried down the mountain by their mother, but wishes to walk alongside their packmates once the ground evens out. They manage to do so for a few minutes, but quickly grow tired and need to be carried again. Silt's enthusiasm wanes a little, but they perk up again once the pack enters the unfamiliar territory of the Forest. 

Once the pack reaches their temporary den, Silt regains enough energy to zoom around excitedly. After a dozen laps of the den they curl up in a corner and nap for the rest of the day. 

6 months: Silt reaches adolescence partway through winter and is allowed to explore the forest. They are nervous, as their vivid imagination transforms the distant calls of elk and owls into the cries of wolf-eating monsters. Thankfully, their close friends Mistral and Mullein offer to accompany them as they venture beyond the den. 

8 months: Back in the Mountains, Silt begins to learn how to hunt, but is too young to aid their friends on actual hunts. Now that the twins are adults and the only other pups are the leaders' newborns, Silt has no companions their own age. They stave off the loneliness by making up their own stories. 

10 months: Mistral and Mullein set off on a trip to explore beyond the territory, and return with a newborn puppy. Cloud immediately offers to take the little one in and names him Kiyo; as such, Silt abruptly gains a younger brother. They are bewildered, but not unhappy with this development. Mistral and Mullein become distant, but Silt is too busy figuring out how to be an older sibling to notice. 

1 year: Mistral admits that Kiyo is her son, and she had panicked after finding herself unexpectedly pregnant. She is more than happy to let Cloud raise the pup as her own, much to Silt's relief - they have grown very attached to him. 

They spend more time with Mullein, who helps them get used to hunting for real, as opposed to training. The two begin a tentative relationship. 

1 year, 1 month: Silt ends up carrying Mullein's pups. Their relationship becomes rather strained. 

1 year, 1 ½ months: Silt and Mullein break up, but remain friends; they are both far happier this way. They agree that when the pups arrive, Silt - who had warmed up to the idea of being a parent - will be their primary carer, with Mullein acting more like a Pupsitter. 

1 year, 2 ½ months: Silt bears 3 pups. After the first few days, they've recovered from the stress and exertion of delivery and take on parenting duties with ease. Mullein visits daily to check in, and Silt notices he speaks a lot about Harrier, a lone male he had recently brought into the pack. Silt teases him about having a crush, which Mullein denies, embarrassed. 

1 year, 5 months: Silt ends up in the Infirmary, recovering from Mange, and Harrier is in there due to Cystitis. While they're alone - and Harrier can't avoid Silt, they know they're his crush's ex, but they literally saw him do an about-turn to avoid walking past them yesterday, come on- Silt takes the opportunity to ask about his relationship with Mullein. Harrier becomes very flustered, and eventually grumbles something about making things awkward for Silt or confusing the pups. 

Silt finds his excuses hilarious, and goads him into confessing his feelings to Mullein to prove he's not as pathetic as he's acting. Harrier lurches to his feet as if to leave, then collapses immediately. Silt suggests that he wait until he's recovered, and Harrier grumbles an affirmative. 

Even after Mullein and Harrier officially become mates, Silt teases them about having crushes on each other, as for some reason they still get horribly embarrassed. Rather than stick up for her brother, Mistral joins in; Silt is delighted.
