Honey

A wise, but adventurous, leader who does not wish to lead the life of a typical female- only bearing one litter of pups with an unknown father to pass down her bloodline, though only her daughter Brighteyes has stayed by her side.

Ripple is her second in command with his partner Flight of Dusky Crow, whilst Firechaser keeps the pack... plentiful with pups so to speak, though has begun to settle with Storm.

She knew her time was coming soon, her bones creaked and she grew weary. Walking through the lands she once surveyed, a wry smile hung upon her muzzle, breathing the air that had given birth to her curiosity in. One last time. 

She bounded across the fields of the prairie she called home, howling to herself. 

Later that night, she heard an all too familiar howl- Ripple!! She arose as quickly as she could- and realised her body still lay within its nest. Ah, the time had come. Whimpering and nuzzling her long time friend, she ran with him about the camp he had not seen for a few moons, saying farewell to her companions and their pups, before following him to the stars. Her son would lead the pack well.
