As a kestrel is not suitable for life in the mountains, so does a loner wolf is not suitable for a life between the chaos that is Basil's former pack of 200 wolves strong. The pessimistic demeanor of his own nature would eventually get him expelled from the pack. Though, to this occurence he did not object, as he fully accpeted it to be his destiny.
With the help of Tala , Basil learnt his way to step onto the new land as a pack leader. In the fjord he resides, and in this treacherous mountainous land he began his search. A search for other fellow kestrels for a small flock of his own.
