The first leader of Enbarr, Ellegaard's leadership was incredibly flawed from the start. Inexperienced and lazy, many suffered at the hands of her care until her advisor, Romero, confronted her after the death of their first puppy that no one in the Pack truly felt true loyalty to their Alpha and it was her decisions that lead to their runt daughter dying. Realising this, she worked hard and long to forge the pack to where it was now. However, as her pack has flourished and brought a new generation along with it, it has presented its own set of problems. On the topic of now estranged her daughter, formerly named Gwynth, Duskthroat took up arms with the New Generation when it came to shifting allegiances. Elated and impressed by her half brother, Dulcelumen, for taking a suffix name and continuing to be at their mother's side, she was blindly committed to furthering the New Generation's agenda. As a result, she actively attempted to become closer with her only sibling in the Pack, unaware that his loyalties may lie where she does not want them to. When this failed and she realised his allegiances laid with their mother, she fled the moment she aged up into an adult, leaving Ellegaard anguished about her daughter's betrayal. Where does this leave her and Enbarr?
There is now no one but her. With both her beloved Arashi and Romero gone, as well as all the members of her old guard, other than Dulcelumen, she has no one to turn to.
As the nights slip past her paws and the grey on her muzzle burns along with her honey coat, she has to confront the possibility of giving up Enbarr to a wolf she may not fully understand.
