Cunning and straightforward, pupsitter is most definitely not the role Warren expects to be given when he first joins the Goldenflower pack. Pulled straight out of a lone-wolf lifestyle and thrown headfirst into a position where he needs to care for someone other than himself— a vulnerable little pup. Adira doesn't catch on to Warren’s inexperience with children, eagerly trailing him wherever he goes and waiting for him to return from his hunts with a wide grin and a thumping tail. Unable to resist her bright puppy eyes, Warren makes the most of her curiosity by allowing her to shadow him in nearly everything he does, patiently walking her through his processes and reassuring her when mistakes are made. He grows more and more protective of Adira as time goes on, and takes a lot of pride in the wolf she becomes. Aside from Adira, though, Warren isn’t the most open book on the shelf, preferring to mind his own business unless he’s approached first. This way of life has made him come off as not exactly cold per se, but certainly not the most approachable either. After a short adjustment period, however, the pack learns that his lack of enthusiasm doesn’t translate to hostility, and with time as they match their varying love languages to his own, he begins to loosen up and accept his new family.
