Kagi cannot believe he's in such a sorry pack. His former pack had chased him out for chewing on the Herbalist's stock. And now he's stuck in a pathetic pup's pack. The stupid idiot originally had more Scouts than Hunters. They've already taken on three pups from strange lands. This whole endeavor feels somewhat pointless.
But hey. He'll stick it out. Maybe things will work out, and if not, he's an old boy anyway. The pups DO seem to be coming along alright, at least. He's asked Errillous for leave to become a Pupsitter once the younger wolves get old enough to hunt. He's getting up there in years, and he fears he'll catch an early death one of these days. Besides, he'd like more time to gossip with Fira. The two of them find solace in each other, a cynical safe zone from these idealistic young idiots.
