Pad(Romantic)

Pad and Light are littermates born to Arrow and Bale of the Stalking Thorn Pack. As a puppy, Pad eavesdropped on their father in his meeting with a wolf from a smaller pack who was attempting to parley.

Their father told the wolf that the Stalking Thorn Pack would only offer protection if they agreed to look after some of his pups and so a deal was reached where Light and Pad migrated to the Snuggles Pack.

Pad does not approve of her father’s willingness to send them away but was eager to leave him behind since he had previously lost her brothers in the mountains. 

While Light spent the first few days in the den sulking while Pad became fast friends with their new alpha’s daughter.

On 12 Nov 2020, 20:15, the sisters formed and own hunting party and set out for their first hunt. Light was in charge of scenting their prey and finishing it off while Pad chased it to her. The duo was successful and caught a pheasant Hen.

On 14th Nov 2020, Blue eyes became old enough to become a hunter and so Pad invited her into their hunting party despite Light's reservations. Despite her best attempts, Blue eyes was not a good enough hunter to keep up with the sisters but Pad insisted that they stay together and that she would eventually improve with time.

Ever since the dispute about Blue eyes, Light and Pad haven't been on speaking terms and their pack hunting rate has fallen drastically. Recently Light has been seen hanging around the border of their old pack and Pad worries that her sister is up to something.

One day, Light wandered into camp carrying a small puppy. Pack Snuggle had a policy of not abandoning puppies and no one even batted an eye as she brought him into her den. But Pad was sure that her sister was planning something and had bitten off more than she could chew.

For almost a year while Tumble grew up, Light hadn't done anything suspicious and Pad was starting to believe that Light had given up on her goal of taking over pack Snuggles. Windrunner's corpse being found was a rude awakening to her. Was it really just a coincidence that Light had hunted at that location the day before?
