AFTER DEATH
Little Kala's tragic and untimely death was a great source of anguish to her family and pack. Lady Selene's first daughter, she would never get grow up and take on the mantle of Lady of Nightwood.
Her story would be passed down through generations of Nightwood, both as a sorrowful piece of the pack's history and as a bit of an unsolved mystery, where many retellings place her older brother Baldr as a potential suspect.
Her spirit has become a symbol of innocence, youth, and a guardian of daughters. It's said she watches over the heirs of Nightwood's Ladies as they grow up, and some pup-sitters have insisted they've seen a little white pup bathed in blue moonlight curled up among their sleeping charges.
