Biography
Not too long after Thorin and Ulrak had decided to be the pioneers of a new concept, the construction of an alliance between packs, they had consented to have a litter together for political reasons.
Despite the pups not being born from love, the parents agreed to try and give them the best possible chance at life. The fact that the children had accidentally been born in winter had been a big scare for the two adults, for they had known they wouldn’t have had the strength to carry on with another litter from one another. However, thanks to the leader of the Arch Canopy pack lending the Alliance two experienced pupsitters, the two siblings managed to pull from the deadly season.
Oresh was the youngest, Skutt being his older sister. Due to how similar they looked, some werewolves who weren’t part of the Alliance, and most of other sentient species, usually mistook the siblings for one another. Oresh had rolled with it with ease. If anything, he had found the confusion amusing. He used to be very close to his sister, after all.
However, the inclusion of three newly traded pups to the pack had been a change Oresh hadn’t been ready for, especially considering that his parents had seemed more invested in the other kids than him. He couldn’t help but be jealous of them. He had nearly died during his early months, did his parents not care about him? Sure, they told him that he was a handsome little boy, but did they truly mean it? Oresh had been determined to get his parents back.
Some time later, Temruh from the Pumpkin Party pack had joined the Alliance. Oresh had been immediately infatuated with her, which had fed her conceited nature. He enjoyed spending time with the beautiful girl, as he felt electric in her presence. It was a feeling he enjoyed greatly.
Not too long after, no more than two weeks, Trishen joined the pack, and Oresh had felt just as infatuated. What a dilemma! Just as he was starting to find pride in his fading jealousy towards new members, all progress came to a halt after his mother had decided to force his sister into the role of herbalist. What about him? That was his dream! His father, Ulrak, then informed him that he was destined to become a pupsitter. His dreams shattered, the little male had resorted to find warmth away from his parents, with Trishen and Temruh.
One month later, Skutt left the Alliance to join the Great Phoenix Pack. Oresh had taken the news with difficulty. Temruh and Trishen were quick to stay by his side and show support, for which he was grateful. During this time, he got especially close to Temruh, who had also been designated as a future pupsitter.
Once he reached adulthood, Oresh became a pupsitter, as what was expected of him. Wishing to make his parents proud despite the situation, he gave his all to the protection of the pups. He got to see children of all horizons and colorful personalities. To his surprise, he ended up enjoying the job quite a lot. It was never boring and, in contrary to the hunters or scouts, he didn’t get injured. Pups were rambunctionous sometimes, but never too much for him to handle. Oresh did miss Temruh, who first worked as a scout, then as a finisher for the Alliance.
As time went by and Thorin got more political litters, Oresh started to realize that his mother always wanted him to be one taking care of his new half-siblings, and this realization warmed his heart. Despite all other pupsitters available, she not only trusted him, but wanted him to look after her other children. Despite his terrible physical abilities and his slow mind, and Thorin’s strive to greatness within the Alliance, she kept him around. In a twisted sort of way, he was incredibly grateful.
Soon enough, Temruh retired from her hunting job to become a teacher, pupsitting older children alongside Oresh. This was the occasion for them to grow closer again, just like old times. Oresh still found her to be incredibly beautiful, but she didn’t seem interested in him anymore, which he couldn’t blame her for. He sure wasn’t as fit as other pack members.
Some months later, Kearh also stepped down from her chasing role to become a food logistic supervisor. Thus, she stayed in the main camp all day, helping Temruh and him along.
More time passed by, and Oresh came to the realization that the Alliance just... wasn’t for him anymore. So he left one day, just like his sister did years before. On his travels through the mountains, he found a pack that was looking for a new pupsitter. He managed to join it without much troubles, and found that the pack had no qualms about entrusting him with their young about a moon after he’d joined. The pack has plenty of food and pups to take care of, and yet sometimes Oresh finds himself longing for the old days in his birth pack, where life seemed much simpler.
Not too long after starting as a pupsitter, he found his skills highly valued by his new alpha. This pack had a lot of pups, and would sometimes get pups from other packs to take care of temporarily. Oresh found he appreciated the hint of politics in the otherwise highly apolitical daily life of the new pack.
He would talk with the other wolves in Dromor, and wound up greatly enjoying talking to the herbalist, Risnilo. He found himself spiraling down another infatuation soon after.
His new pack had been told about his flirtatious habits when he joined. Yet, none of them really seemed to mind. He'd tried putting the moves on some wolves he'd found attractive, but they mostly just laughed him off and told him they weren't interested. Risnilo was different. He keeps finding himself gravitating towards her, and she has not rejected him. Yet.
