Biography
Duskset didn't heed your warnings about playing with other packs' pups, and how some adults don't appreciate strange pups wandering into their territory. One of your scouts found her mangled body on their expedition today. Judging by the injuries, she had been killed by an adult from an opposing pack.

It is customary to those whispers within the winds to educate their children, from the moment they take their first steps, that the mists are what protect and shield them. Their territories eternally cloaked in the obscuring fog that works as well as any wall, as they are the only ones who have learned to traverse them — and used that advantage to deadly effect when dealing with intruders.
They do not name their pups, for the wilds are dangerous and the nights long.
Perhaps it is of no surprise that one with such glittering eyes of curiosity would wander too far from safety and meet her end at the jaws of a neighboring pack. It was Velia who found her little body, broken and bloodied with gruesome wounds, just outside of the territory with the scents of a neighboring pack in the depressed earth around her. As a final spit in the eye to the winds, they had the nerve to leave scent markers around her body and within the territory. An offense that Mistral and Sidhe would not abide.
Retaliation was swift and brutal. Velia acted as bait to lure the pack close — feigning a limp to trick them into thinking her wounded. They struck from the mists, staining the border red with blood as their surprised and agonized yelps rang out in the early morning. They were allowed to live, but with the warning that any further trespass would be met with harsher punishment.
The winds carry whispers that naught escape our ears.
