Cronos - hunt 2

Cronos was born in a strong pack far from where he now lives. Things started off peacefully until a vast majority of his pack died from illness when he was only six months old, including his mother. With the loss of everything he cared about, Cronos became a nomad, never staying in one place long enough to form attachments. He was afraid of losing everything again.

That was until he ran across the Secret Forest pack and their leader, Anyu. He was instantly drawn to her, though she already had a mate and a pack on her mind. He kept to the fringes, eventually joining just out of curiosity. Shortly after, her mate died in a nasty fall. Though Cronos felt for her, he was also pleased that he would finally get a chance to get to know the impressive female who had held her pack together so well, despite challenges. Over time, they spent more and more of their time together, her often confiding in him.

When Anyu announced that he would be her Alpha male, Cronos resisted. His old urge to wander away from the things he cared about struck him hard, and though he stayed behind the scenes in the pack, he often wandered away for weeks at a time. He could see that it was hurting Anyu, but he was so afraid of losing her like he had lost his family that he couldn't force himself to stay. It wasn't until one meeting when he could really see that she was hurting, to the point where she might lose control of herself and her pack, that he decided he needed to stay.

Almost as soon as he had decided, fire broke out in the forest during a bad storm. The pack scattered, and he and Anyu barely made it away from the main part of the blaze together. Still, they were separated as they fled, and it took him another six months to find the female that he had fallen in love with.

When they were finally reunited they reformed the Secret Forest pack, determined to have a life together and start the family they had both waited so long for.
