Biography
Lucix is a strong and an odd male. One day he is extremely demanding of his pack, the next he allows everyone to take an extra long feast break. He was especially cruel to his first pups. When the pups weren’t able to track down a bleeding elk at a very young age, he chased them both away.
It is said that the blood of Odin’s wolves are slowly making him lose his mind. To have two such powerful bloodlines combined into one wolf ought to have serious consequences. Lucky for him, his offspring can’t suffer from the same illness as he does. Deep down Lucix himself realizes what is slowly happening to him. His once perfectly white coat is slowly turning into different colours, marking the changes happening inside him. Can he create a strong enough pack before he loses his mind completely?
By the time Lucix had turned four and a half years old, he had lost his magnificent white coat. Time was slowly but surely catching up.
Lucix eventually reached the age of seven. He became more cruel than before, needlessly slaying enemies and other creatures he came upon during his voyages. One of his pack members witnessed him kill a defenceless raccoon kit. Lucix didn’t even need to take its life, he just felt like it. The pack member watched in shock as Lucix left the lifeless kit behind him, not bothering to eat it or bring it back to the pack. There was not a single white and pure hair in the alpha’s coat after that day. Time had finally caught him.
The last bit of the alpha’s kindness and humanity (if one can say so about a wolf) vanished the day his lifelong mate Chara passed away. Lucix was 7 years and 4 months old when his other and better half left this world. He simply lost the ability to feel love, emphaty or other kind feelings. His heart was filled with hatred and bitterness. He now ruled with fear. None of his pack members desired his company nor advice. If the alpha wasn’t out exploring, he would be found sulking in the alpha’s den where he even ate nowadays.
It was his final day on this world, Lucix could tell. He just knew. It was a beautiful winter day in the riparian woodlands. His pack was staying there for the first time during winter, and everyone seemed to enjoy the place. Lucix was pleased. His pack would grieve for him tomorrow, miss his presence for a while, eventually they would move on, survive and even thrive. The first ever alpha of the pack sat outside his den, the one he no more shared with anyone. It was just him. A few of his hunters walked by, shortly greeting their alpha and giving updates on game trails. There was plenty of prey to kill. The alpha was pleased with himself, he had managed to put together a small empire, ferocious killing machines as his hunters, agile and persistent scouts, wise herbalist and pupsitters with more eyes than enough to watch over the younglings. He knew that when the sun came up the next day, his pack would be alright.
The old wolf was not mistaken. The next morning his lifeless body was discovered by his heir Antonia. That day was filled with grieving howls that couls be heard even in the farthest biomes.
The pack shaman’s guidance to help the wolf pass over to the underworld:
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
- Ephesians 4:31
