💀Obituary:

After running away from the pack after severely injuring Zakuu's daughter Zuraa, Kane took with him  the two daughters they had together, leaving only Zane with Zuraa. 

The Whisperer's have no idea what happened to him after he left, but he ended up living to his old days scavenging. His daughters abandoned him after they were grown, seeing through his constant lies. This left the old man bitter and unwilling to join another pack. And so, when his body began to deteriorate, there was no one to help care for him. He begrudgingly survived to a relatively old age, getting by on scrapes before he ended up starving to death.

Full History from when he was alive:

When Kane was taken into the pack, he claimed that his old one had all died to a deadly disease, making him the sole survivor. Sympathetic towards his cause, Zakuu gladly took him in. Although he was an adolescent at the time, Zakuu needed a pupsitter for her new puppies that day, and tasked Kane to watch two of them during a hunt: Zuraa & Chestnut.

Kane took his job with pride, but not seriously enough. Deciding the puppies were staying out of trouble, he took a nap. When he awoke, the puppies were gone. He only found them after hearing the whimpers of Zuraa, and found the lifeless body of Chestnut, laying near a puddle of vomit, and a nibbled on flower. Kane attempted to revive him, but with no luck. 

Terrified that Zakuu would kick him out of the pack, he claimed that they had all been attacked by a rival pack, and that Kane had just barely got out alive with Zuraa. 

Although Zakuu thanked Kane for his bravery in saving her daughter from danger, she's felt on edge and perplexed ever since. She'd done nothing but build good repertoire with neighboring packs, so who had done it? 

Regardless, she now keeps Zakuu very close, and Kane has not since been tasked with pupsitting.
