Trapper is an... Interesting looking wolf, and the first leader of the Vanguard's Pack. He is generally regarded as knowledgeable, and appears to most as though nothing worries him. However, Trapper constantly agonizes about the health and well being of his pack members when no one is around to see it. Puppies in particular cause him a good deal of stress, since he can't often be around to ensure their safety and must entrust other wolves with the task.
Trapper is overly fixated on the size of his pack, and has allowed wolves to suffer for it greatly. Though some in the Vanguard's Pack disagree with his methods, they all agree that there is no one better suited to the position than Trapper.
In his old age, Trapper has spent a good deal of time wandering through the mountains contemplating his own regrets. He knows that his time is coming soon, and no one is quite sure what to make of his behavior. Sometimes he awakens out of nowhere to cry for the old herbalist Dandelion, whom he knows he will never see again.
