Adopted into the pack as a pup along with his mother Skunk Blossom, his helpful nature quickly won him the fondness of Gold in the Rock, who looked on him as a son. When he came of age, he followed Hidden Embers as a scout, quickly growing into a strong, clever, and wise wolf.
His handsome features and striking glass-colored eyes also made him popular with the females of the pack -- as well as those in many other packs. Though he coupled with many she-wolves and sired over a hundred pups, he always had a soft spot for Stone Under Ice, Gold in the Rock's favorite daughter. They were mates in all but name, and their daughter, Clear Spring, would go on to become the pack's second leader.
When age began to catch up with him, he took the young male Comet under his wing as a new scout. Once he was sure Comet knew his way across the world (and following the death of his own beloved mother), he chose to retire from scouting, and spend the remainder of his life in the comfort of his own cave, with his family around him.
