This is the first wolf to die in the pack under Sable’s leadership. Sable was distraught to find not only a deceased puppy, but one of her own.
The puppy had not received a name from the pack at the time of their death. While mourning for the lost pup, the pack decided to name them Perier. (Short for a word meaning “Curiosity” in Greek!).
