Audric

an aged wolf with a gentle and quiet temperament, audric is the semi-aloof and introverted, yet benevolent, leader of lichen valley pack. his presence and aura is intimidating given his large size, height, and hesitance to offer a smile or a friendly word, but do not be fooled by the outward appearance - audric is a deeply nurturing and fair leader who has a natural, paternal vibe. because of his willingness to help others and provide more than enough for his loved ones, he is often perceived as gullible and overly trusting. his long-time mate, aiyana, typically does the talking and is the “face” of the pack with audric being the strategist behind the scenes, working silently and skillfully to keep his family safe.

on 04/22/21, his beloved mate, aiyana, passed away from old age. audric is inconsolable and has become isolated and withdrawn. his daughters know now more than ever that they will need to assume leadership of the pack soon.

05/03/21, audric passes away. it is a day of mourning for the entire pack. while vala takes it upon herself to comfort her pack, wren takes advantage of the situation and assumes role as leader.

enyo (1st litter)
the first-born child of audric and aiyana, enyo always had dreams of venturing far and wide, her paws unable to stay within the confines of lichen valley's borders. the news of her daughter not wanting to take over the pack had filled aiyana with sadness, but her understanding mate, audric, assuaged her worries and encouraged their daughter's desires. enyo now resides in the neighboring territory, cross river pack, where she seems to have settled for now.

wren & vala (2nd litter)

wren and vala, twins in more than just their shared birth date, appear as near-reflections of one another. while vala has taken a bit more from her father with her dark complexion and wren more from her mother with her fair face markings, the sisters nonetheless have an uncannily similar appearance, right down to their dusty-blue pelt. wren, the more vocal but smaller of the two, has already proven herself as a strong asset to the pack, asserting herself as a natural leader among those her age. wren is a bit more soft-spoken, but her large frame and intelligence make her a formidable force. they both have expressed interest in taking over the pack, and while vala is the more charismatic decision, those who can prod wren into speaking know that she is determined to beat her sister, no matter what.
